Dear Quilting Friends,
Happy August!
This is definitely a busy time of year as many folks get their last-minute vacations squeezed in before the kiddos go back to school. As for those of us who no longer have those kind of obligations, late summer is a perfect time to take in county fairs and get ready for a splash of fall splendor as the leaves turn from green to red, orange and gold.
As for me, I’m looking forward to having my daughter Alisha and grandson Joseph visit for a couple of weeks. During the day she’ll be working from her home-away-from-home, but the weekends and evenings will be full of fun activities such as my husband’s company picnic, our local Juab County fair and demolition derby, visiting with her sisters and his cousins and maybe some fishing with Grandpa.
Here in the shop plans are moving forward to schedule our newest fabric bowl classes in September and a 25-block, Amish-inspired quilt class beginning in October. I think these will be popular classes so, take a moment to reserve your spot as soon as you can.
Lastly, we are bursting at the “seams” (get it???) with more fabric than we have room for. And more is on the way! Please check out our website (www.paisleypatchquilts.com) to see what’s new, what’s on sale and what suits your fancy. We offer free shipping on every order over $100 as well as curbside pickup to make your shopping experience quick and easy. Of course, we certainly welcome anyone who wishes to come “feel” the merchandise. Sometimes the satin finish of fine cotton and crispness of a luxury batik makes all the difference in the world when it comes to creating your quilting masterpiece.
As always, we hope you’re healthy, happy and finding joy in each 1/4” seam.
Happy Quilting!
~ Beth and Kami
