Paisley Patch Quilts, LLC is please to offer longarm quilting service from basic computerize edge-2-edge designs to full custom block, border, and sashing treatments. Rest assured, your quilt will be handled with the utmost care and respect as if we were working on our own creations.
Please review the following guidelines to prepare your quilt before it leaves your home. You will be asked to acknowledge you have read through this document and agree to the terms before we can work on your quilt.

Lead Time
Estimated lead time is approximately 4 weeks from the time we receive your quilt, with a goal to have quilt finished and returned to you no later than 6 weeks. However, any changes requested by you may add time to the estimated completion date. You will be informed of any adjustment to the timeline.
If you need your quilt returned in less than 4 weeks, expedite services are available for an additional fee provided no changes are requested to the original quilting plan.

Quilt Preparation and Costs
Please bring/send your quilt top, batting (if you provide your own) and backing fabric as separate pieces and has no embellishments. We ask that your quilt top be "square" and flat. This means both sides are the same length, the top and bottom are the same width, and there are no significant folds, tucks, or thick seams throughout the quilt top. Minor deviations (i.e. 1/2" in length or width) can be adjusted during quilting, however distinct differences will have to be modified for an additional fee prior to quilting.
Please look over your quilt top one last time and repair any gaps in the seams or seams that don't have 1/4" seam allowance on the back (where one side of the seam may have shifted while sewing). Make sure your top is well pressed, ironing out significant wrinkles or folds along the seam lines.

Quilting Designs and Costs
We have hundreds of E2E, block, border, corner, and sashing designs for you to choose from with the ability to customize the quilting process to your specific quilt.
If you choose to let Paisley Patch Quilts, LLC determine the quilting design, we will choose a pattern that compliments the quilt layout and/or fabric prints so that the quilting enhances the piece work, not detract from it.

Quilting Design Changes and Costs
Once your quilt is on the frame and quilting has begun, any changes requested by you will incur additional costs to remove any stitches, re-prep the quilt for the new design and/or reload it onto the longarm frame.

Batting Costs and Requirements
We offer Quilter's Dream 80/20 white batting in 93" and 120" widths. This cotton/poly blend is low loft and lays flat on all quilts.

If you provide your own batting, please ensure it is at least 8" larger than the quilt top in both directions and has a consistent loft (thickness) to it. Some brands tend to have high/low consistency and will not quilt well. Also, higher loft (comfort type) batting tends to get "pushed" as it is quilted which can lead to folds and tucks on the quilt top. Please choose a batting that is not more than 1/4"-3/8" thick to get the optimum quilting outcome.
Backing Fabric and Costs
Please also ensure that your backing fabric is square and at least 8" larger that the quilt top in both directions. Example: Quilt top is 80" x 90", the backing fabric needs to be at least 88" x 98". If it does not meet theses minimum requirements, additional charges may apply.
If you desire to utilize a flat sheet for your backing, please remove the side and bottom hems and unpick the top cuff. Iron out all the wrinkles and folds, then square the sheet leaving an extra 8" more than the quilt top in both directions.

Binding Services and Costs
Paisley Patch Quilts, LLC offers binding services at the below costs. If you choose to have us bind your quilt, please provide enough fabric (or premade binding) to cut, sew and attach the binding based on the formula 2 x width + 2 x length + 12". Example: 80" x 90" quilt requires 2 x 80" + 2 x 90" + 12" = 352" min. 3/4yd

Invoicing and Postage
Once your quilt is done, you will receive a message via text indicating that your quilt is ready for in-store pickup or return shipping. In the case of return shipping, you will receive an electronic invoice of all your charges and return shipping costs. This invoice will need to be fully paid before we ship your quilt back to you.
Guarantee of Workmanship
Paisley Patch Quilts, LLC Guarantee: If there is a problem with the quilt for which we are responsible, you must let us know within 48 hours of receiving your quilt. We will use every reasonable means at our disposal to make it right. If that is not feasible, Paisley Patch Quilts, LLC will issue a credit for the cost of quilting labor only. Backing, batting, binding and thread charges will NOT be included in the credit. The is the maximum liability of Paisley Patch Quilts, LLC and THIS GUARANTY SUPERSEDES ALL GUARNATIES IMPLIED BY LAW, INCLUDING THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES FOR MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. The credit is redeemable for ninety (90) days from the date of issue.
